New colour – Walnut Curcuma

From the end of July, we offer a new colour named Walnuss curcuma, code F436-3064. This colour is manufactured using the „Cool Colours“ technology, with reduced heat absorption ability.

Its appearance is very similar to real wood. Delivery conditions and more details are in our section “For partners”.

40 mm door filling segment

New product of the year 2010 – 40 mm door filling segment in our HORIZONT PS ^® penta plus profile system, for glazing with the 2555 or 2556 glass stop, goes perfectly with 40 mm triple or double glazing units with HEAT MIRROR film.

Assembly dimension of the segments is 100 mm.

The door filling segments are manufactured in seven-chamber design, in colour variations according our current specification in the  on - line HORIZONT PS catalogue.

For connecting of the profiles our proven groove and tongue system is used. Heat insulation coefficient of the profile U_p 1,15 W . m ^- 2 . K ^- 1.

Traditional partner meeting 2010

This year’s traditional partner meeting took place in a small beautiful winery “U kapličky” in the Zaječí village. We had to skip some of the outdoor activities due to bad weather, but a short skeet practise has been a great and attractive experience for everybody. The following excursion into the wine cellar, acoustic performance made by the ALBAND music group and the final casino games made for a pleasant and friendly atmosphere of the meeting.

We would like to thank all participating partners for their visit and we are looking forward to the next meeting in 2011.

New warehouse construction

In March 2010 we have started construction of a new warehouse for storage and shipping of profiles. The construction of the new building will improve storage and shipping conditions related to expansion of production.

PRO NATURE production from 100 % lead-free materials

From January 2010 our HORIZONT PS profile system is manufactured from a lead-free compound with the trade mark PRO nature. This is our answer to an appeal from the largest European manufacturers of PVC called Vinyl 2010. This activity is voluntary so far, and its goal is to reduce the content of lead in PVC products by 50 % in the year 2010, compared to 2000.
